Be sure to mark your calendars for this annual Colesville community event. This year, we are privileged to have two quest speakers: Tom Heikken from WSSC and Frank De Lange from the Montgomery County Permitting Services Office. Twenty minute presentations will be provided by each speaker with ten minutes for questions. You will be able to enjoy refreshments and talk to each speaker before and after the presentations at their respective information tables.
In addition to the speakers, there will be six information tables with lots of handouts. Information will be available on the following:

(3) Montgomery Hospice
(4) Montgomery County Master Gardeners
(5) Senior Services
(6) Disaster Preparedness
A brief business meeting will be held from 7:30 to 7:45 to elect officers for 2008 - 2009.
Speaker Background Information:
Tom Heikken is Chief of Plant Operations. He heads up the production Team, and is responsible for the operation of all water and wastewater treatment facilities in the Sanitary District, as well as the water distribution system and a central environmental laboratory.
Frank De Lange is a Zoning Investigator for Permitting Services. Frank has over 29 years in zoning enforcement including 7 as the Zoning Supervisor for DPS. He has a Master’s degree in public affairs, is a certified zoning inspector (which is a certification given after a test designed by the International Code Council), and is past president of the former Maryland Association of Zoning Officials which was a group which brought together code enforcement inspectors from all the Maryland counties.
